Annual Rigpa Sangha Gathering
Live on Zoom from 25-29 August 2026.
Open to all Rigpa students and members of all sanghas.
The event is presented in English with live translation into French, German, Spanish and Italian.
A joyful gathering of the whole sangha, this annual all-mandala retreat offers a precious opportunity to practise, celebrate, receive teachings, share stories, and deepen our sense of community.
Our main themes this year, will be the three incarnations of Terton Sogyal (commemorating his 100th anniversary this year), our tsawe lama Sogyal Rinpoche and the newly discovered Yangsi of Sogyal Rinpoche. So there will be many life stories, teaching and videos deeply connecting us with our lineage masters.
Along with the practice of Tendrel Nyesel, a terma revelation of Tertön Sogyal that is uniquely upheld in Rigpa and was one of Sogyal Rinpoche’s main practices.

Empowerments needed to do Sadhana practice
To do the Rigdzin Düpa or Tendrel Nyesel sadhana, you need a Guru Rinpoche or Tendrel Nyesel empowerment. In case you are missing any empowerments (e.g. Vajrakilaya), please focus during these parts on your own personal practice.
If you don't have the empowerments for these Sadhanas, please enjoy the atmosphere of the practice and connect with your personal practice and prayers.
Chöpöning and offerings for the practice
Please prepare Tsok offerings and do the chöpöning and Tsok distribution in your centre as you would for a usual tsok practice. If you follow the practice from home, it is advised to prepare an offering of food and drink on your personal shrine.
You can also help us with making abundant offerings of lights, tsok and flowers on Lerab Ling during this auspicious occasion by making a donation online.
